Sapgreen Community Plans
The community page at Sapgreen is under construction now. This will be a place for all of you who are interested in trees and environment in general to write articles, share thoughts and even plan activities among yourselves. Every one of you would definitely have an idea for making the Earth greener. Publish the idea online here. Someone else might also endorse your idea and the idea may turn into action. Now, wouldn’t that be great? With that in mind, I’ve made a basic sketch of how the site would look like. However, the website is just a tool. What is more important is the people, the community and their ideas which make change happen. Make it happen.
Ultimately, if this serves as a common platform for all green lovers to share thoughts, change will definitely happen 
The community feature will be ready in 10-15 days as there are still a lot of issues to be handled. Meanwhile, I will be providing updates daily here.

I had one more question….and im sorry if this has nothing to do with the topic of the post, but can NRI’s contribute money to plant trees too? If so, could you tell me how? Is payment through credit card possible? Just wondering. Mr. Ashwin, please do mail me at

Dear Ashvin,
I had met you in person last year along with my friend sri vathsa.
Its good to see that sapgreen has survived all the seasons and looks promising. Hope the same with the saplings sapgreen has planted so far.
I had one suggestion from my side regarding the pictorical representation of functioning of sapgreen community. You can use a tree to represent the same, users come under leaves and fruits.
sapgreen community becomes the trunk.
sapgreen.com forms the roots.
I hope this idea is good. think about it.
Its the creativity which makes the concept work. first people should get attracted then they will certainly dig into details.

They have already doing what it you are saying.
Of many green networks, they have the best or many feature.
